In my previous life I was a secretary for a local company and thoroughly enjoyed my role. However, art always called my name and I did not know if I would every have the very special opportunity to retire and devote my free time to doing what I love. I am fortunate to be retired and painting up a storm. I adore vibrant colors and trying to find my own unique style which is depicted in Prancing Poppies. I have taken several painting classes and have had the good fortune to have talented and encouraging teachers. I started in watercolor and now I specialize in acrylic painting and making decorative plaques.
